This consortial project includes materials from the University of Washington, Eastern Washington State Historical Society in Spokane, and the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle. The collections consist of 2,350 pictorial images and 6,000 pages of manuscripts, printed ephemera and journal articles concerning Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest form 1763 to 1920. Digitized materials will include 60 pages of contextual/interpretive essays, bibliographical references, and will be organized into ten themes/categories to permit easy accessibility for a variety of users.
