SUMMARY
Photograph shows boats in the harbor. In the distance are market stalls by the shore, the Governor's House above them, the Admiral's Garden stretching along the Bay, the Admiralty (white building with cupola), and the Uspenskii Sobor (Cathedral of the Assumption) in the center. From Eleanor Pray's letter of September 4, 1899: "Doctor [Robert Ivy] and I have just been on board the Sungari to get a picture of the harbor from her bridge, and I hope it will turn out well."
