SUMMARY
Besides describing the events that happened on his two trips to Russia, Herberstein provides information on the geography, history, politics, inhabitants and economy of the country. This is an English translation of the Latin original "Rerum Moscoviticarum Commentarii".
In seinem Reisebericht macht Herberstain neben der Beschreibung der Erlebnisse seiner zwei Reisen nach Russland auch Angaben zu Geographie, Geschichte, Politik, Bevölkerung und Wirtschaft des damals noch von Moskau aus regierten Landes. Dieses Werk ist eine englische übersetzung des lateinischen Originals "Rerum Moscoviticarum Commentarii".
NOTES
The first volume contains a detailed historical introduction to the work, several letters from G. Turberuile, who lived in Moscow at that time, and a portrait of Herberstein.
The second volume also contains a report on the northeastern "Eismeer" and the kingdoms located there.

Der erste Band enthält eine ausführliche historische Einleitung zu diesem Werk und mehrere Briefe von G. Turberuile, der damals in Moskau lebte. Ausserdem ist eine Abbildung Herbersteins vorhanden.
Der zweite Band enthält ausserdem einen Bericht vom Nordöstlichen Eismeer und die Königreiche in diesem Gebiet.
