Ocherk istorii Pervogo Nerchinskogo kazach'ego polka, sozdannogo v ianvare 1898 g. na baze Pervogo Chitinskogo polka. V mae 1899 g. Nerchinskii polk iz Chity byl pereveden v Ussuriiskii krai, a v 1900 g. napravlen v Manchzhuriiu v sviazi s nachavshimsia v Kitae vosstaniem protiv evropeitsev. Na mesto postoiannoi dislokatsii (Ussuriiskii krai) polk vernulsia tol'ko cherez 6 let, uspev pouchastvovat' v russko-iaponskoi voine i riade vnutrennikh operatsii.

Historical sketch accompanied by maps and diagrams of where the regiment engaged in battle, photographs, and color and black and white illustrations by the artist Samokish.

Istoricheskii ocherk soprovozhden kartami, skhemami mestnostei, gde polk vstupal v bibliotechnoi, a takzhe fotografiiami i tsv. i cherno-belymi illiustratsiiami khudozhnika N. Samokisha.
