English Description: Complaint made by the administrators of the West India Company to the State General about the conduct (tyranny) of the British in New Netherland. The British increasingly invaded the West India Company territory and in doing so became a threat to the Dutch administration.

Dutch Description: Klaagschrift van de bewindhebberen van de West Indische Compagnie aan de Staten-Generaal over het gedrag en het optreden (tyrannie) van de Engelsen in de kolonie Nieuw Nederland. Engelse kolonisten drongen steeds vaker en verder het territoir van de West Indische Compagnie binnen en vormden daarmee een bedreiging voor het Nederlandse gezag.
